Thank you for having me on the forum I was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin lymphoma ('NHL') TCell in January 2026 following large lymph nodes in my neck and feeling generally unwell. Since then been having chemotherapy called CHOP , I have been coping with this obviously side effects ! I’ve lost loads of weight and didn’t need too hair fell out with first treatment I look like Gollum ! I’m very frail trying to keep weight on is difficult. Bowels are playing up today and I’m feeling sad for my family.

You will find a hugely supportive group of people on this forum who all understand the many challenges of living with blood cancer.

I’m sorry to read about your diagnosis. Positive that you are having chemotherapy and yes all our treatments no matter which cancer bring side effects.

Hopefully you are keeping your Haematology Team aware of your symptoms and any changes, which is really important.

How are you feeling today?

It sounds like yesterday was a really tough day and I’m glad you were able to talk about it on the forum.

The journey comes with so many challenges doesn’t it, for both the patient and the family and some days can be harder than others.

You will find people who really understand how you are feeling, if you think it would help to talk things through, give the helpline a ring, they are amazing!

Hi Nichola 75 thank you for your reply doing a little better today better night’s sleep helps. Tummy still hurting but a tad better have to feel better for Tuesday is chemotherapy day lovely to talk to someone it all helps. Hugs :hugs:
