We’re working on a new Blood Cancer UK web page about navigating sex, intimacy and relationships while dealing with blood cancer, and we’d love the forum community’s help before it goes live.
The page will cover things like how treatment side effects can affect your sex life, safe sex, body image and confidence, talking to your hospital team, support for partners, and non-sexual intimacy. We’ve tried to make it inclusive of everyone with blood cancer, whatever your age, gender, diagnosis or sexual orientation.
What we’re asking for
We’re looking for 2-3 people aged 18+ to read a draft of the page and let us know if anything important is missing, or if there’s a more helpful way we’ve worded something. The draft is around 2,500 words and should take about 30 minutes to read through.
We’re also hoping you’d be willing to share a short quote from your own experience, related to any of the topics the page covers. It doesn’t need to include anything private or specific, and we can fully anonymise your name and identity if you’d prefer. The quote would appear on the final published page.
