For street ….
And for party……
I didn’t know the version @Erica
suggested. By chance, I think the Stones were support (in the early days)
for Martha and the Vandellas:
And for Party
(not my favourite - it brings back memories of being taunted in the playground by girls singing ‘I wanna be Bobby’s girl’ )
Hi @BobK99 my version of Dancing in the Street with David Bowie and Mick Jagger was the iconic one played at Live Aid 1985 and The Prince’s Trust concert in 1986.
What a coincidence that the Stones were support to the Martha and the Vandellas brilliant version.
PARTY
For everyone
HEY BOY HEY GIRL

Just come on and where are the 2 words for today?
It is the highlight of my week.
So you are stuck with my words and responses.
DRINK - Hot chocolate - It started with a kiss
GOLD - Sting - Fields of gold
Well done Erica - I completely forgot this week! X
Gold has to be this one. One of my all time favourites!
And for chocolate this came straight to mind! Same group @Erica but different song
Thank you @Erica for the words today. My song choice for DRINK is NO MILK TODAY by Herman’s Hermits. A bit ironic as actually I can’t drink milk but I remember the song when I was growing up! And for GOLD, a little known song by Paul Bell called MEND THE CRACKS WITH GOLD. It is based on the Japanese art of Kintsugi where broken objects are repaired with a golden glue, making the object more beautiful and making a feature of the breaks instead of hiding them. Kintsugi has become very meaningful to me in recent times. Sorry I don’t know how to link the video but it is on YouTube. Warm wishes. Willow X
