Insurance while costly is vital as you never know what might happen.
I’ve not travelled any distance since diagnosis.
If and when I choose to do so again I would see the additional cost of the insurance as being a drop in the ocean compared to the cost of the NHS treatment I’ve had.
It’s easy to forget that in some countries people need to sell everything to cover treatment costs.
