Hi, I am 59 and diagnosed with AML in July, straight into treatment on the AML 19 trial and going in for stem cell transplant on New Year’s Day! I am actually a cancer nurse and have really struggled being on the other side, being treated by my colleagues and having my patients support me like I did them! However I am coming to terms with it all now, but like everyone else have those down days. I have found this site really helpful and no doubt will be on here more while I’m in for my stem cell transplant.
