Hi, I’m Nick. I was diagnosed with Hairy Cell Leukaemia in 2016 having partially ignored symptoms for just over six months. The treatment, care and support I received from the medical team at The Christie was amazing. I’m very fortunate to be now living without any formal treatment, other than blood testing every six months, until I’ll require further treatment. I’m passionate about raising awareness of all forms of blood cancer to ensure as many people as possible can get the earliest diagnosis and, in addition, I want to support and help those either suffering themselves or those affected by blood cancer.
