@Chrissy I can identify with how you are feeling. I’m hoping that the whole 2 years of the treatment won’t be like this. It’s frustrating as I should have started having it 2 years ago and it should be over by now. There’s also statistically a good chance that I’ll be back in chemo some time next year.
Hi @Chrissy, a great big welcome to our community forum. You might find some useful information on the Blood Cancer UK website under Myeloma. We are all here to support you and you can contact the wonderful Blood Cancer UK Support Services Team on 0808 2080 888 10am-7pm Monday-Friday and 10am to 1pm Saturday and Sunday or via email at support@bloodcancer.org.uk to talk to someone.
It’s rotten feeling your symptoms and I know them although I have CLL.
Take care and keep posting.
Thanks for the supportive comments. I have just been on a two and a half mile walk which always makes me feel better, although still feeling nauseous. I still have some anti sickness pills left over from when I was having chemo. I didn’t need them then but wonder if they would help me now?
Chrissy
Hi @Chrissy, that sounds a good walk. I cannot advise about the anti sickness pills but thinking about your previous post you and your body has been through a lot and you have kept going so perhaps you need time now to replenish your batteries and be kind to yourself, I find my fatigue means it is a real effort to do anything. Take care.
Hi @Chrissy welcome to the forum! Sorry to hear you’re still feeling nauseous. Have you got in touch with your CNS or consultant about whether you’d be able to take the anti sickness pill left over from having chemo? I’d really encourage you to get in touch with them so that they can give you the best advice on how to manage the nausea, as it sounds really difficult. Hope you’re doing okay.
