Wow @Kimmie17, what absolutely wonderful news and what a difference to your quality of life, your fitness and emotional well being.
It is lovely to hear what you are doing.
I have not dealt with what personally stresses me well and No.1 on my list was work.
The relief when I was made redundant was so, so good, I know what you mean.
Memories with your grandchildren are so important and priceless for you all.
Your emojis say it all.
Please keep posting what adventures you are having and look after yourself.
Thank you! I feel joyous that I am 99% of the time living my life well and looking after myself 100% better, even with an incurable cancer diagnosis. This week I’ve had a little virus and just being able to rest when I want without guilt has been a breath of fresh air xx
I still get down days when I imagine I won’t live into my 60s or 70s, but they are getting less and I’m busier than ever but on my terms! Xx
Hi @Kimmie17 I have made it into my 70’s and I count myself as a very lucky girl and I find it difficult to rest without feeling guilt too. I am having trouble saying ‘No’ at the moment, I never learn. My diagnosis did give the the opportunity to assess what I wanted to do and with whom. Hey 99% sounds good to me, I think I’ll go with that.
That’s great news @Kimmie17 ! Enjoy the rest.
