Hi JoAnn, @JoAnn

I came across your post and wanted to reach out. My grandmother, who is also 80, was diagnosed with leukaemia a few months ago, and it’s been a challenging journey for our whole family. Hearing that you are navigating this at the same age makes me think you might have a unique perspective. If you have the energy and are comfortable sharing, I would be grateful to hear about your experience, not for specific advice, but just to understand what this path can be like for someone in your generation. Lately, we’ve noticed a big change in my grandmother’s mood, and we’re trying to learn how best to support her. It’s heart-breaking to see her struggle. Please know there is no pressure to reply. Just sharing a little of your story would be a gift, but your own well-being comes first.
