Hi, I was wondering what cream people would recommend for the awful itching that I get with Essential thrombocythemia (ET)? I have tried a lot and Aqueous and Calamine is quite good, but does anyone have anything better, please?

I can’t vouch for this as my itching is was related to low iron and as soon as I managed that the itching all but went.
I do however someone recommending this aloe vera gel that helped them
As it’s a common annoying side effect I’m sure others will post what these use/do

Hi, thank you. My iron levels are all OK now, so I know my itching is not to do with that.

Hey there @Hels, just wanted to second @Rammie18 suggesting aloe vera gel. I thankfully don’t get the dreaded Myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN) itch, but I can get horribly dry skin due to daily chemo making me photosensitive. Keeping hydrated and using aloe vera gel stops my skin from being too dry or cracking. It’ll likely soothe the upper layers of skin where that nasty itching occurs too. Smells nice and subtle and doesn’t stain clothes either!
