NPNvoice

(Moderators - I hope this is allowed.)
I have spent today at the MPNvoice patient conference in York.
Whilst my condition straddles Myelodysplastic syndrome ('MDS')/Myeloproliferative neoplasms ('MPN'), having read about the conference, and it coinciding with a trip to friends close by, I thought I’d attend to see if I could broaden my very limited Myeloproliferative neoplasms ('MPN') knowledge..
Now to be fair, a lot of it went over my head - a new vocabulary, references to medications and trials etc. - I have no regrets about attending.
If you have an Myeloproliferative neoplasms ('Myeloproliferative neoplasms ('Myeloproliferative neoplasms ('MPN')')'), then I think their site, along with Blood Cancer UK. might be useful. I also would say that if you get the opportunity to attend one of their events, it would be worth attending because you will meet others with Myeloproliferative neoplasms ('MPN')’s specifically, and pick up useful information. (The welcome coffee and breakfast pastries and lunch didn’t go amiss either!

Glad you enjoyed it @Hepzibah

They had one up here in the Highlands last year but it was too soon after Transplant to attend.

I’ve heard a lot of good things about these events.

Thanks for sharing as I’m sure it will be helpful for others on the forum
