That’s such good news! Well done for pushing. So important to get everything checked ![]()
Hi. Just another update. I’ve been at home with family celebrating my birthday (it’s today haha) and they’ve found out about the haematology thing. We had a spa day booked for Tuesday but when I was on the way back from the vets with my dog yesterday I got a call from haematology, they said they want to book me in for Tuesday
it was a bit annoying but I accepted it, then obviously had to tell my mum when I got home. As I knew she would, she pushed and pushed for a reason and I ended up telling her. I told her there was a 99% chance it’s not anything nasty but there was still a few tears as to be expected. She told my grandad and he insisted he book me a private appointment instead of going through the NHS, and he managed to get one for today so that’s what we’re doing today
I’m so grateful for my family wanting to help me so much but it’s still leaving a sour taste in my mouth that they’re doing this for me when my nan is actively going through treatment. Anyway, we leave in about half an hour to meet the haematologist so hoping it goes well and I can get some answers
How did your appointment go @asaun05
