How do you guys manage your symptom trackers and meds between rounds?

Hello @JiJi, and welcome to the Forum - may I ask what brings you here, and what sort of symptoms you’re hoping to manage? I might be able to signpost to some more specific advice.

If it’s related to your post title, with fatigue and hairloss, do feel free to tell us more as there’ll likely be others here who’ve been through exactly that and can share what helped them (including myself!).

With regards to managing symptom trackers and meds between rounds, I know from firsthand experience that this can feel alost like a fulltime job.

Some people find a simple daily diary (paper or on your phone’s notes app) works best - noting what meds you’ve had today and at what time, how you’re feeling, any side effects, and any steps you’ve taken to mitigate side effects (e.g. a warm shower for bone pain) and whether they helped. This way you’ve got something concrete to refer back to and to show your team if anything changes.

Others prefer just an app for reminders, especially if you’re juggling several medications with different timings. There are various medication reminder apps around, though that’s not something we’ve specifically vetted, so it’s worth reading reviews and hearing from other community members before settling on one. I seem to remember that I used one called Medisafe when I was going through treatment, which was a medication reminder.

There’s no one right way and it’s really about whatever you’ll feel most able to keep up with.

Our Support Line is also there if you’d find it useful to talk any of this through 1 on 1 with our blood cancer nurses, and you can call us fo free on 0808 2080 888 (option 1) or email support@bloodcancer.org.uk.

Take care,
