Oh my pleasure, @Erica! I have plenty more yet to be edited. I don’t seem to be able to add videos here so I may add a link to the GoPro one my camera assistant AKA husband took of the whole route.

That weird yellow thing is a banana slug, native to this part of California’s coast, and hilariously the mascot for my husband’s alma mater, UC Santa Cruz! Imagine having a slug represent your uni?!

You might be disappointed and amused in equal measure but I didn’t end up eating at the “British pub” because I saw too many reviews of how bad their food is!

Their service sucked too—my other half overheard the owner/bar manager speaking incredibly rudely in Spanish to the kitchen staff. They didn’t mess up the beer though, thankfully!

Proper dimple glass too, top marks :wink:

Ha right?! It was about the only authentically British thing there! Cheers to our best efforts for Blood Cancer UK :beers:

Oh but I did hear an exasperated techie dad telling off his wild children in the beer garden with a Northern Irish accent! First time I’ve heard that sort of Brit over here. Usually it’s people who sound like they could present on the BBC in the 1950s or occasional Yorkshire or Cockney accents. I won’t get into how many Americans call themselves Irish but have never been there, or those who say they’ve got Welsh heritage when I tell them where I’m from and they’ve confused it with Scotland :sob:

Gone through my snaps from my Walk Of Light and here are a few more favourites that show off the Mount Tamalpais and Redwood Creek landscapes.

Until next year, possibly :hiking_boot::evergreen_tree::mountain:
