Great @Jbeaver12 I find that the specialist nurse is a good contact, usually.
Take care and please let us know how you get on

Let us know how you get on

thought i would give you the best news ever . i had my first review since i was diagnosed with tlgl and the haematologist was very happy with the blood results with the outcome being that it is indolent so i remain under watch and wait and instead of being monitored once every 4
months , i have been changed to one appointment a year to monitor my condition . so happy at this. i’ve just completed my final shift at the prison until the end of next week . i’ve also asked to transfer to officer training next summer . all the best to you all. love and best wishes to everyone

That is absolutely great news @Jbeaver12 and thanks so, so much for letting us know, now you can relax emotionally and physically.
I hope that you can have some ‘you’ time until the end of next week and you have also got something else to look forward to if you do the officer training next summer.
I think it is time to really celebrate and be kind to yourself

Fantastic news @Jbeaver12, thank you for sharing this with us and we wish you a happy and healthy 2023.
Take care
Gemma

Hi everyone, I am really peeved off at work. Someone complains that i phone my wife too much who is seriously ill and disabled. I swear at residents (prisoners). i eat in the shop (guilty). Has people not got anything better to do. Apart from that, Im doing well atm

Oh @Jbeaver12 I am glad that you are doing well atm despite your problems at work.
I always found it was best to keep my head down, follow the rules and keep ‘my side of the street clean’ .
I used to think that I need this job so I can look after and feed my family, I can pay my bills and keep my home.
I am 73 now and I still don’t know what I would like to do when I grow up.
Look after yourself
