Hi @Hels glad to hear from you again, sorry to hear about the symptoms you are experiencing.
I hope someone will be able to share their experiences for you.
I will copy your post to the Blood Cancer UK nurses for you too. @BloodCancerUK_Nurses
Really look after yourself and please do let us know what your specialist nurse or medical team say as well.

Hello @Hels - I am an Essential thrombocythemia (ET) patient too diagnosed 18 years or so ago - and yes all you describe is very much an Essential thrombocythemia (ET) thing which tends to effect the hands and feet particularly with pins and needles and areas of numbness - I certainly have over all these years - but as with everything it is important to let your consultant know you are experiencing that so they can check it out and if any tweaks on treatment may be needed - let us know how you get on

Thank you. I have mentoned it to my consultant but she didn’t really seem very interested tbh. I am only on aspirin at the moment. I have an appointment in Jan, so I’ll mention it again. Thanks again

Hello there @Hels
Looks like you have got good advice around mentioning your symptoms to your Haematology Consultant and your Clinical Nurse Specialist.
As you are only on Aspirin it is unlikely to be medication related but very much worth reviewing with your recent blood counts when you see the team in the new year.
There can be many reasons form numbness and tingling so worth keeping a diary of symptoms and frequency which will help the Doctor or Nurse review your symptoms: Peripheral neuropathy - NHS
Do take care and call the support line should you need to talk: Blood cancer information and support by phone and email | Blood Cancer UK
Kind regards
Gemma
