Hi @Curtis498.
I have copied in the @BloodCancerUK_Nurses as they will know a lot more than me. Be interesting to see what the recommendations are
Thank you @Nichola75
A very good question @Curtis498, @Nichola75 has given you a great response and perhaps you might ask your specialist nurse, consultant or GP as well
I hope someone will be able to share their experiences too.
Please do let us know how you get on as others will probably be interested as well.
Look after yourself
Hello there Gemma
There is very little definitive advice for when someone is taking Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitors for Chronic myeloid leukaemia and dying hair but I would check with your Clinical Nurse Specialist in the first instance. It can be your scalp is a little more sensitive when taking particular medications to best to be sure by speaking to your team.
I will do some more research and let you know if I find anything.
Take care
Gemma
Thank you @GemmaBloodCancerUK I will send a email to my specialist nurse! I will embrace the grey for a bit
This maybe of help
Do embrace and whilst you wait for an answer this charity is great for information about skin and hair care too: About Us - Look Good Feel Better : Look Good Feel Better
Take care

From our personal experiences, it’s not really good to play with chemicals in this situation, but I don’t really know about the hair dye, it could be inoffensive. You should ask a nurse about that.
