Is MGUS causing my crushing feet sensations and spasms?

Diagnosed with Monoclonal gammopathy of unknown significance (MGUS) end 2022 after experiencing numbness and tingling in feet. 2 and a half years on. IgG levels steady, but having strong crushing, pulsing sensations, sometimes painful in feet as soon as I lie down in bed at night. Hard to get to sleep and often waken with cramping in feet and lower legs. Is there anyone out there with similar symptoms and if so, any suggestions as to cope with them? Thank you.

Hi @ChiChi welcome to our forum.
I hope someone will be able to share their experiences for you.
Perhaps it might be worth talking to your specialist nurse, medical team or GP to find out if these symptoms are connected to the Monoclonal gammopathy of unknown significance (MGUS) or something completely different.
Really look after yourself and please do let us know how you get on.

Thanks for your reply. I should have a GP appointment soon and try again to find out the possible cause of my various nerve sensations.

Apologies for the delay in posting. Got a GP appointment earlier than expected and he didn’t rule out my Monoclonal gammopathy of unknown significance (MGUS) playing a part in my at times painful feet and lower leg sensations. I had decided to try rehydration sachets (my GP was OK with this ), 1 an hour or so before bedtime and 3 months on the cramping in bed is much less. However, the crushing at night continues. Next blood test due in a few weeks.
