When you realise what that money can do it really brings home how much of a difference donations like yours make. If it wasn’t for people like you and your mum then we would be in trouble. Such a great gift to be able to give X

Hi @LH3, yes, as @Nichola75 has said so well you must be emotionally and physically drained and perhaps your time off work will give you and your dad time together and a chance to start to recharge your batteries.
It sounds as if your mum was so special and you have some wonderful memories to cherish.
I cannot thank you enough for your donations to Blood Cancer UK, you have raised so much and it will make a difference.
Take lots of special care of yourselves and if you would like to speak to someone you can contact the wonderful Blood Cancer UK Support Services Team on 0808 2080 888 10am-7pm Monday-Friday and 10am to 1pm Saturday and Sunday or via email at support@bloodcancer.org.uk we are all here for you both.

Hi @LH3. That’s really sad to hear and such a worry for you. How he is doing? It must be so hard on you, especially after what you are both going through at the moment. Being in hospital, in the current climate, I can imagine, is extremely worrying for you both. I hope the hospital are keeping you updated? How are you managing at the moment? Have you got people around that you can talk to and who can support you whilst you’re supporting your dad? Sending special wishes X

Hi LH3,

I echo everything @Nichola75 has said, I’m so sorry to hear this but really glad at the sane time that you’re continuing to reach out on here.
How is everything?

Oh, @LH3, it’s one thing after another, you really are going through a tough time. Take lots of care of yourselves.
How are you holding up and how is your Dad?

Thank you everyone. Your support means more than you will ever know and is so appreciated.
Dad has tested positive for covid.
He is ok but grieving badly for mum.
I now have to isolate.
I have sent him lots of home comforts and a picture of him and mum :heart::heart:

Oh, @LH3, it is such early days I bet you and your dad are really grieving badly.
It must have been scary having your dad test positive for Covid, it really bring it home, literally.
I was so touched when I read you had sent your dad lots of home comforts and a picture of him and your mum, you are so thoughtful. It must make a such a lot of difference to him.
Good luck with the isolating, perhaps it can be an opportunity for you to really look after yourself . Please let us know how you and your dad get on and spoil yourself, you deserve it.
