Hi @Buttie you certainly show what complex medical individuals many of us are, welcome to our forum, I am glad that you have found us, although you might well be in shock at the moment.
You also show how difficult it is to diagnose with such generic symptoms.
I am a 74yrs old female and I often joke that the only department I am not under at the hospital is maternity.
I was also diagnosed at this time of the year, 21 yrs ago and I remember feeling in a bubble with the world celebrating around me.
Perhaps make sure that the medical people that diagnosed you are aware of all your medical history, symptoms and their severity. You might also need to get an opticians appointment and make sure that they know your whole medical history too.
I also write down all my fears, questions and practicalities before all appointments so I know I cover everything.
The Blood Cancer UK website is there for you and so is the Blood Cancer UK support line on 0808 2080 888
Perhaps give yourself time to come to terms with your diagnosis, be ever so kind to yourself and please do keep posting, I look forward to hearing more about you
