Low iron levels with Polycythemia vera

Hi, another post. Firstly thank you to those who read, and liked my first post. So, after feeling dizzy and lethargic for the past 2 weeks I saw my gp today and had a blood test. My results showed low TSAT levels. I’m seeing a consultant in a few weeks and I’ll have another blood test before then, but not sure if results will change.
It would be nice to know how people manage with low iron levels and Polycythemia Vera and what you do to help with any symptoms. My main symptoms are fatigue, dizziness and cognitive impairment. I’m really hoping my symptoms improve, I know my consultants appointment is soon, but it feels an awful long way off.
Thanks

Yes, @Jonesi waiting for appointments and not knowing seems never ending.
I am glad that you are having another blood test to compare before you see the consultant.
I attach the Blood Cancer UK details on fatigue
Fatigue | Blood Cancer UK
and you will find a lot of fatigue posts on our forum.
I found getting to know myself has helped me and some people write a diary of events and effect on their fatigue, I don’t deal with stress well and my fatigue can come on if I overdo it emotionally, physically, psychologically or practically
I hope others will share their experiences for you.
Please do let us know how you get on and really look after yourself.
