Hi
I have been on Momelotinib for about 8-10 months now and feel well on it and it has increased my HB level but after a blood count etc done this Monday I noticed on my results that my white blood cell count has dropped out of the minimum level. My platelets have been dropping too but still within the limits so not worried about that. Has anyone else seen a drop in their White cell count whilst using this drug. I’m on 200mg at the moment. I will be seeing my consultant soon but wanted to know if this is a side effect of the drug. I did look online and yes it said it was but you can’t always believe the internet. Thanks everyone

But it sounds to me you have some questions for your consultant when you see them soon.

Really look after and be kind to yourself and I also do not believe everything I might read on the internet.
Thank you @Erica I have quite a few questions for my consultant. Fortunately I feel absolutely fine so hoping it’s nothing serious and just the meds need tweaking or something easy to sort out. Hope you are enjoying the sunshine

Just a quick update. Consultant wasn’t concerned re the blood results and my lower white blood count as said blood results vary from day to day and even on the same day. I had had a bout of norovirus about 6 weeks ago which took it out of me for about a week so thinks that may have contributed to it. So I carry on for another 2 months until my next appt and see where that one goes
