My lymphoma has spread

Hi
I actually wrote a blog on here when I was diagnosed with follicular non-hodgkin’s lymphoma 10 years ago. Diagnosed following a routine mammogram. I have been "watch and wait " since then and luckily had no treatment. Following the initial shock at diagnosis, I have led a normal life. However, just over 1 year ago I started having a watery left eye with swollen eyelid. Went to opticians 3 times and no concern, however I asked for referral to orthoptist. I was not worried, thought probably blocked tear duct. Cut long story short had CT scan, biopsies and diagnosed lacri.al lymphoma both eyes mainly left. Discussed at MDT meetings and offered radiotherapy or rituximab. I’m having 2 blasts radiotherapy this month.
I am really struggling mentally as dreading what may look like. Also low mood as timing of this couldn’t have been worse. Got results on my last day of working as a Nurse after 49 years service. Not how I expected my retirement! Just wondered if anyone else had had lacrimal lymphoma and/or Rituximab.
Many thanks Janet.

Hi @TommyJ welcome to our forum.
Diagnosis is not easy is it and I am glad that you persisted.
As you say the timing could not have been worse on the day of your retirement.
Personally I would say that I am not surprised that you feel you are struggling mentally at the moment.
I thought that my life was mapped out in front of me and suddenly I saw all these losses
