New drug update

Hi all out of hospital now had 2 different infections but was well looked after will be having transfusions as and when…now have silly cough and runny nose it never ends but honey qnd lemon cough mixture is helping

Hi @Suzyq I am so glad that you are now out of hospital and was so well looked after, yes, the NHS are marvelous, aren’t we lucky to have them.
Sorry to hear about the cough and runny nose. I also think sometimes the old remedies are the best and that you cannot beat honey and lemon.
Look after yourself.

Just got a chest infection finding it hard to get better but i will just carry on trying Merry Christmas x

How low are your hgb levels

My dad is now on the same meds as you from Next week and his hgb levels have dropped on the ruxtonilib already

Hi fefe im on fedratinib and my red blood cell count went down.and i had 2 units of blood …i was on 400 fedratinib but consultant decided this was too much im not feeling too bad at the moment my care team are brilliant

Many thanks for replying to me. Can I ask a question- bone marrow do you know what your blast stage is ? And what did your red blood count go down to before you were given transfusion. And once you were given transfusion have you managed to sustain your red count

Hi fefe my red cell count went down to 76 after tranfusion went to 106 but now gone down to 86
