We have collaborated with our Haematology Medical Colleagues and the British Society of Haematology to support work to enable a more detailed understanding of Blood Cancer Patients experience of having a Bone Marrow Biopsy.
You are invited to share your experience of having a bone marrow biopsy, as part of a project aiming to improve both patient experience and training to perform the procedure.
This survey consists of 12 questions and will take 10-20 minutes to complete. It will be open until May 30th 2025, and we would be grateful for your time: https://shorturl.at/5sIzV
Any questions so please contact the Study Team who have included their email address in the poster attached.
Hello @parkrunmark
I think this survey includes either, and/or both procedures.
It just says “if you have had a bone marrow biopsy procedure in the UK”.
I’ve not had a look at the questions, but it may ask which one you have had.
Thanks
Hello @parkrunmark
I would include your experience in both. I appreciate that the aspirate and trephine can differ in experience but any insight would be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards
Gemma
Morning @parkrunmark I’ve answered the survey it doesn’t differentiate- in the UK you would usually have both of these tests done at the same time.
It’s a very quick and easy survey to answer.
