@Lyndam Thank you so much Hope all is well with you xx
@Sisi
Hi Sisi
Everything will go well, and no more T.I.As.
Very best wishes unclejack.
@Erica
Hi Erica, still struggling with leg and ankle, leg has improved somewhat but ankle still swollen but less painful. Had a weekās course of antibiotics because cellulitis was suspected. So now eating loads of yoghurt, cheese, and probiotics to repair the damage to the gut microbiome. Really donāt like the risk of antibiotics because of damaging the immune system but no alternative. Haemotology blood test next week followed by telephone appointment a week later. So very interested to find out what effects the injury and antibiotics may have had on blood levels. After the injury my platelets nearly doubled,so I expect theyāll probably return to the low level of about 40.
Never mind it was all self inflicted nobody to blame but myself. How are you? Are you fully recovered from that nasty fall?
Bestwishes unclejack.
@Unclejack Thank you for you best wishes

Hi All! My husbands carotid endarterectomy all went well yesterday Luckily he was first on the list for surgery, so didnāt have to wait long when he checked in at 07:30 He was closely monitored for 24 hours, so much so, I donāt think he slept last night!
Medical team are happy with him & he moved onto the vascular ward as planned this afternoon. So onward & upwards!
Best wishes to you all xxx
Hi @Sisi

Hope he will soon be well enough to come home. You must be very relieved?

Hi @Erica. Hope you are having some well earned rest, you deserve it. Thank you for your message.
@Sisi @Logsie @ChrissyD @Lyndam @Erica Saw yesterday that a new treatment available on NHS for Lymphoma and Myeloma is for the first time in the world being offered on NHS. Apparently is 3 times better than current treatment in effectiveness. Not for Chronic myelomonocytic leukaemia (CMML) yet but perhaps it may be in the future fingers crossed.
Hereās hoping Unclejack
@Erica @ChrissyD @Unclejack @Logsie @Lyndam Thought youād all like to know that my husband was discharged from hospital today! @Sisi and @Logsie
Such great news from both of you. Hopefully now you can cross those ops off your āworry list ā and relax while both your husbands convalesce. Theyāre both very lucky to have such caring wifeys!! Have a great weekend.
Weāre going up to London tomorrow so my daughter (who has Chronic Fatigue and is pretty much housebound ) can see her Dad on Fathersā Day.
x
oh @Sisi and @Logsie great news from both of you about your husbands, you must be emotionally, physically and practically exhausted.
3 cheers for our NHS.
@ChrissyD take it steady coming to London tomorrow with your daughter, it can be exhausting.
Our son can round today to celebrate Fathers Day, something to do with going home to watch the 24hr Le Mans on his TV I believe, so I am all upside down and inside out and think it is Sunday today.
