Hi @Liz1410 I am so glad that you have found us, welcome to our forum.
I wonder if you have a specialist nurse yet, if not the medical team that diagnosed you and tell them about the symptoms you have, their severity and impact on your life and see what they say.
It is always difficult with very generic symptoms as they can be attributed to different conditions.
I have another blood cancer and I am also on watch and wait (active monitoring) and one of my symptoms is fatigue.
I will copy you the Blood Cancer UK details on fatigue.
Active monitoring (watch and wait) | Blood Cancer UK
I have got to know myself and how I tick and I manage my fatigue on a daily basis.
Feeling rubbish really is rubbish
Please do let us know how you get on and be ever so kind and really look after yourself.
Thanks so much i only got told in January but knew something been a miss for a while just getting my head around it all its so strange and scary how they just tell you give you the information and then say see you in three months times ,im trying to look after myself bit never have any time for me as its all work ans
And no play as they say sorry my dog hit my armbefore i had finished lol hope your gettingnon ok with watch and wait do you just get use to it i feel like im a ticking time bomb if that makes sence my heads all over the place and i just dont know what to do xx
Perhaps @Liz1410 if you are anything like me you are still in shock, it took me ages to get my head round it all.
It must be so hard for you as your are working so hard, perhaps just spend an extra few minutes with your dog or a few more moments in the bath/shower.
The emotional side really took it’s toll on me too, although I did not realise it at the time.
Also I could not explain to work what I did not understand myself.
I am given a long weird medical diagnosis and then told that I am not being treated and that I am going on watch and wait, wait for what and what about me feeling rubbish.
I felt the only person in the world and so alone.
You have made the first step by joining our forum family, please do keep posting as I look forward to hearing more about you
