I’m due to start Venetoclax this week and I’m feeling apprehensive. I’ve been OK on Obinutuzumab after a bad start. I’ve had 3 blood transfusions in a month and I’m just worried about the side effects and possible weight gain on Venetoclax. I’m usually really positive but at the mo I feel like my life is in limbo a bit. Anyone got any advice? Much appreciated.
I was on Venetoclax with Azacitidine for about 10 months @ELGall1996
Found it very easy to deal with and didn’t gain weight.
Others I knew had to come off it because of issues like skin rashes.
Think it’s just a case of keeping an eye on things and letting your clinical team know of any issues

The combination of Venetoclax and Azacitidine was what got me to a point where a Bone Marrow Transplant was an option @ELGall1996
