Hello, I’m new to the forum, I have had Chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL) for the past four years.
At the moment I’m on watch and wait, my consultant is considering treating me with Calquence.
Has anyone had experience of taking this drug, your thoughts appreciated.
Hi @Briank, a great big welcome to our forum and although I also have CLL I cannot answer your question.
Am I right in saying Calquence is also called Acalabrutinib?
I find this forum supportive and I hope you will too.
If you would like to talk to someone the Blood Cancer UK support line details are above.
It cannot be easy for you considering treatment while we are in Covid times.
We await if anyone can help you.
How are you doing and feeling?
Thanks Erica, yes Calquence is also known as Acalabrutinib, at the moment i feel very well, and have done all through, I’m happy to have the treatment if my Consultant recommends it.
I was just wondering if any members had any experience of it.
Hi @Briank , welcome to the forum. Sorry I can’t help but I hope somebody can offer you some help with their experiences. Take care
