Hello iv just been diagnosed with polycythaemia got to have ultra sound and bone marrow biopsy then see consultant in October what happens after that im not sure

My name is Pete. I am 76 years old.
I was diagnosed late last year with Acute myeloid leukaemia ('AML'). So far I’ve had 5 cycles of Azar/Venetoclax.
I have had the usual problems with taste, but between 4th and 5th cycles my taste and smell became really. At present, most food taste really horrible and sometimes makes me feel sick. I’m worried because I have lost 11 pounds in the last week and I’m feeling very fatigued.
Mouthwash and similar aren’t helping. Any advice, please.
