Hi all! I decided not to go ahead with chemo for my Acute myeloid leukaemia (AML). I have underlying health issues and just decided I’d like quality over quantity. I feel exactly the same as when I was diagnosed with Myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) 2.5 years ago, just a little more tired. I was wondering if anyone else on the forum has previously declined chemo and how that decision is going for them. Thanks so much and big hugs to all

Hi @sallyspix any decision you make is absolutely fine by us.
I believe that all consultations should have the patients wishes at the centre.
I hope others will be able to share their experiences for you.
Please do keep posting how you are doing and big hugs to you too.
