Are my symptoms concerning?

I have had recent bloods done for another condition I have which are usually stable but this set has shown below lot reference neutrophils and observations on my platelets, basophils and eosinophils. I haven’t experienced any illness or infection recently.
I have also had a 2 week long heavy period in the middle of my pill packet as well as painful bones and joints and Breathlessness on minimal exertion such as carrying washing up and down the stairs or getting my little one dressed to go out, and wondered if all these things could be pointing at something more ? How would you approach a GP with these random symptoms ?

Hi @biscuit0198,

Welcome to our forum and thank you for posting.

Given you have posted here, I suspect that you are worried about blood cancer. I would suggest raising your concerns with your GP and list the symptoms you have been experiencing along side your recent blood results. I have enclosed a link to our free guide which you might found helpful Worried about Blood Cancer Guide It lists common blood cancer symptoms and provides space for you to record any that you might experience. It also includes things to think about before a GP appointment and questions to ask your doctor about your symptoms.

It is important to remember that most people with the symptoms listed will not have blood cancer but it is important to found out what is causing them.

Let us know how you get on.
Take care

Hi @biscuit0198 I am glad you have found us, and hope you do not need us.
@Fiona_BloodCancerUK has given you a great response.
My mind goes blank every time I walk into a medical building, so I need to write down all my symptoms, their severity and impact on my life beforehand
Then I need to write down all my fears, questions and practicalities.
Also what you were told about the results by the person who ordered your blood tests in the first place.
I think personally that we are very complex beings, which makes any diagnosis so much more complicated and please remember all tests are to rule things in or out.
Please do let us know how you get on.
Look after and be very kind to yourself.
