Based in Scotland? Get involved... Scotland Policy Panel

Hello all,

We have another exciting opportunity to help shape our work! Blood Cancer UK’s policy team are looking for members to join a new Scottish Policy Panel.

In 2019, Blood Cancer UK established our first ever Policy Panel, to ensure people affected by blood cancer remain at the heart of our policy and engagement work. This has been a huge success, but we’re determined to go further. That’s why we’re setting up a new group to represent the blood cancer community in Scotland.

The Panel will play a crucial role in helping us understand the issues that matter most to people affected by blood cancer in Scotland, informing the topics we should be campaigning on, and supporting us to make policy recommendations that will make a real difference.

We are looking for people affected by blood cancer (patient, carer, or family member) from Scotland. You don’t need to have been part of a group like this before, just interested in using your voice to ensure the unique issues and complexities of the disease remain at the top of the political agenda.

If this sounds like something you or someone you know could be interested in and would some like more information please email Josh, our Policy Officer in Scotland, on josh.hill@bloodcancer.org.uk.

Best wishes

The Support Team
