Bone marrow transplant soon

Hi,my appetite picked up well and I started to put on weight again. However I have now lost my appetite again, mainly also due to a very dry mouth and lack of saliva. It’s quite frustrating but I also appreciate that these episodes will come and go.Having lots of small portions is a good idea, also still drinking lots of liquids

@Ashob - yes sound like you are progressing and still coming across challenge. Good choice of words to describe it.
Key is to keep pushing on, enjoying the good days and resting on those more difficult days. Keeping positive helps as well as mind over matter definitely works. I wasent a great advocate of this saying but since being I’ll and going through transplant it’s amazing how if your mind is focused on getting better the body definitely bounces back.

@AlastairC - sounds like you are having a challenge. I had some artificial saliver, which came in a tooth past tipe tube and you wiped it in the mouth before food. Also really key to have food with lots of moisture like grave, beans or other with sauce, helped me through

I ate ice cream and jelly for a whole week after my transplant as everything else was too painful. If I was a kid it would have been bliss but I was grateful when I progressed to bacon sandwiches
