"This is a place to meet others going through the same thing, talk, laugh, cry, share your feelings, challenges without being judged and receive emotional support in the comfort of your own home as the event is online (via zoom).
The group will be hosted by life coach and mental health practitioner Veronica Kararwa who is also the founder of the charity KKLT- KKLT - kevin kararwa leukaemia trust (kkltrust.org) instagram @kkltrust
This week will also feature guest speaker Linda Muyobo (pictured below)- a dynamic and inspirational coach who helps her clients uncover their unique strengths and abilities and find their confidence to overcome their challenges.
KKLT was created to help raise awareness of Leukaemia (a form of blood cancer) especially among the black and ethnic communities as sadly the chances of finding a cure for a person who is black/asian is far less than any other race. The charity was created in the loving memory of a 24 yr old charismaric young man called Kevin Kararwa whose story you can see here: Kevin Needs A Donor (youtube.com) to avoid others to go through the same thing.
So come, invite a friend, family member, bring some tea/snacks and access free support, learn something, meet, have a chat and talk to other people. All races and cancer diagnosis are welcome as we can all share experiences and advice.
