CLL and Type 1 Diabetes

This morning I’ve been told I have Chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL) - no treatment just chronic and referred back to GP for 6 monthly blood tests. Only found because my diabetes consultant decided to check my full blood count since my HbA1c from being consistently in the low 50s for decades had suddenly shot up to over 65 and stayed there. High white cell count, high lymphocytes 60% of which are said to by iffy, so here I am.

Oh @Jenny282 so here you are and a great big welcome to our forum family.
I was also diagnosed by another specialist doing tests, mine was a gynaecologist
I was diagnosed with Chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL) 21 yrs ago and I have been on routine blood tests (watch and wait , active monitoring, whatever you want to call it) ever since.
So join the club.
I will copy you the link to the Blood Cancer UK details on Chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL)
