MGUS and eye problems

Hi @Dora,

Thank you for your post. There is some research which suggests that eye problems can be related to Monoclonal gammopathy of unknown significance (MGUS). It seems that this is quite rare, but, I have found this thread from a few years ago with other forum users diagnosed with Monoclonal gammopathy of unknown significance (MGUS) discussing issues with vision:

It sounds like they have experienced different issues to you, but, you may still find this useful to read through.

It’s great to hear you have been seen by the eye clinic, and, hopefully the drops will help. But, as Erica has mentioned it would also be a good idea to update your GP or haematology team about your symptoms so that they are aware.

If it would be helpful to talk things through in more detail, please don’t hesitate to contact our nurses on the support line or via emailing: support@bloodcancer.org.uk

I hope you hear from other forum members, too!

Kind regards,

Tom
