I have been diagnosed with Chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL) probs had since 2018. It has taken me a while to post. Was diagnosed in December, have got my head round it now but have had 4 colds this year, which is unusual for me and have had to have antibiotics - I have had the flu jab which seem ironic since having all these colds. I need to have the pneumococcal but reluctant. Has everyone else with this condition had it?
I was told I have probs had this since 2018. I
haven’t told many people that I have Chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL). - I am on ‘Watch & Wait”

I also have Chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL), I was diagnosed 19 yrs ago and I have been on watch and wait (active monitoring) ever since.
I have had every vaccine going, including pneumococcal,
I had a lot of urine and dental infections requiring antibiotics however a hysterectomy and multiple teeth extractions sorted me out.
I told everyone initially, as I was at work and as it was near Christmas and round robin letter. I found that I could not explain what I did not really understand myself.
As my life has gone on over the 19 yrs some people know and others don’t.
As I often wear Blood Cancer UK tee shirts it is a give away.
