Pausing/stopping obinutuzumab in V&O treatment for CLL

Currently being treated for Chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL) after 8 years if watch and wait. I am up to 200mg of venetoclax and all going well. However, Obinutuzumab has been paused (maybe permanently) as current thought is that the problems I have had with with infusion reactions and lastly TLS were down to my response to obinutuzumab.

So, my question is, has anyone got experience of stopping obinutuzumab early (for me it will be after cycle 2 if that is what is decided) and continuing with just venetoclax? Or was treatment option completely changed at this point. Anybody’s experiences of such a situation would be very helpful.

Thank you.

Hi @Beebusy good to hear form you again and I hope that someone will be able to share their experiences for you.
It also sounds as you you have got a list of questions to ask at your next appointment.
I reckon that you are a unique human being with an individual medical history which makes a difference to medications and how you react to them, so I think that your medical team might be best place to share their thinking with you.
Please do let us know how you get on and be very kind and really look after yourself.
