And if you need some support remember, the support line is there and counselling is available. I know it’s not for everybody, but it helped me. I was a lot worse after treatment ended and that’s when I needed the support most X

Hi @Erica that’s exactly how I feel falling off the grid and everyone assuming I should be ok is a very good way to describe it, it’s early days so I’ll just take each day at a time @Nichola75, thanks for reminding me about the support line, I do feel I would benefit from it, just before Christmas I did a 6 week course on managing stress at my local Maggie centre and it helped massively

Hi @Nichola75 , thanks for your message, I have some good days and some where I feel overwhelmed but i guess it’s early days, yesterday I was cuddling my cat and just stared crying but I couldn’t tell you why, today has been better, I woke up feeling very tired but I made myself go out for walk and I think that really helped

Those feelings sound very normal to me @Lesley1, yes, it is early days.
Even crying all over your cat
I am really impressed that you made yourself get up today and go for a walk and that it helped.
Be kind to yourself and learn what works for you and please do keep posting

One day at a time. Sometimes just a morning at a time. Getting out really does help. I’ve got my 6 monthly check next week and always get teary and anxious - made myself go swimming today and I felt so much better afterwards.
Sending lots of love X

Thanks @Erica @Nichola75 for your kind words, learning to adapt to the new me is quite a challenge. Im trying to to it one day at a time with some days being better than others, at the very beginning someone said to me “ be kind to yourself” and I didn’t really know what they meant, I do now. I can imagine how anxious you get for your 6 monthly bloods, I’m on 3 monthly to start with and I’m sure I’ll feel the same, sending hugs
