Hello,
I’m not sure where to start. I’ve recently been diagnosed with Marginal Zone Lymphoma. I am starting immunotherapy on Wednesday and I feel so lost. Not sure if this forum will help but really don’t have anywhere to turn.
Hi @JamesRourk1962 I am so glad that you have found us, a great big welcome.
You are certainly not lost or on your own now, you are part of our forum family.
You say that you are recently diagnosed and that you are starting immunotherapy on Wednesday.
If it were me I would still be in shock and feel that I was out of control and suddenly on a rollercoaster I couldn’t get off.
What I find on our forum is that no matter what our diagnosis is we often share similar fears, thoughts, emotions, and practicalities.
The Blood Cancer UK support nurses are also there for you on 0808 2080 888.
I look forward to hearing more about you.
Give yourself time and be very kind and look after yourself and please do keep posting
Hi @JamesRourk1962.
You have had so much happen in such a short space of time and I know how difficult that can be.
When I was diagnosed with follicular lymphoma I had an operation followed by radiotherapy and my mind was all over the place, alongside my emotions.
I’m glad you have found the forum as you will be surrounded by people who can share experiences and who really understand what you are going through.
You’ll be in my thoughts tomorrow. Remember, the support line is there if you need it and always an ear on the forum.
Please take good care of yourself, and when you feel ready, please let us know how you are doing.
