Stem Cell Harvest

Hi everyone, it’s been a while since i posted so firstly hello!!
After 6 months DVTD chemo for Multiple Myeloma, Im delighted to have received a call today to say I’m booked in for stem cell harvest in Belfast on 7th October!!! Im both nervous and excited to get things moving.
It’s all such a rollercoaster!!
Thankfully my induction chemo was a success, with my paraprotein levels now below 1 so I’m feeling a lot better than I was back in February when I first joined this forum.
I hope to hear news of my transplant date very soon too and really looking forward to being on the other side of it ahead of Christmas :christmas_tree:
Big hugs to everyone!

Oh @Emma13 big hugs to you too, great to hear from you again.
A rollercoaster describes it so well
I really hope you get your transplant date soon, please do keep posting.
That is the first Christmas Tree I have seen !!
Be kind and really look after yourself

Good luck!I am going in tomorrow for a Stem Cell Transplant to attempt to get rid of the Mycosis Fungoides T Cell Lymphoma .A bit nervous about it and it’s the kind of Stem cell transplant that uses someone else’s cell not the kind that uses your own. These T Cell Lymphomas are hard to cure so probably a partial response is the most likely which will set it back a few years.

Oh @Kevan7 I shall be thinking about you having your stem cell transplant.
I reckon it is very natural to be nervous, I think I get nervous over the unknown and anything medical.
Be ever so kind to yourself and please do let us know how you are doing
