Wow totally missed this month’s movie chat! Looks like I have some catching up to do as I haven’t seen any of these choices, although I’ve seen Wolfs advertised and catch myself correcting it to ‘wolves’ in my head 
I wonder @Erica if you might also enjoy a more recent adaptation of Pride and Prejudice called Fire Island (2022), the story being moved to a very gay part of New York!
Had to search for your choice @Jules as I wasn’t sure if I, Jack Wright would stream over here, but yes apparently it’s on BritBox. I’m always pleasantly surprised by how many British programmes can be seen here, many on PBS which is like American BBC.
Made me wonder if there’s a website or app people use to find where to see films/shows? I’ll sometimes fancy watching something specific and unfortunately video shops no longer exist so I can’t simply pop down the road and rent it. Flags: I should probably preface my comments by saying I am a total wuss and also not a fan of horror that has lots of jump scares and gore, which this does! I’d seen the director’s great (terrifying) film Weapons (2025) and he’s remaking Resident Evil this year, so thought I’d see what his first one was like. Well, there’s lots of (I can’t put this delicately) murder, assaults both physical and otherwise, nudity, imprisonment, torture, just all the grossest horror stuff.
One or two sentences on it: Haha well it may put you off ever staying at an Airbnb, or going into basements, or indeed visiting derelict streets in strange cities. The film itself has a satisfying anti-capitalist angle if you can peek from behind your hands for long enough, and there’s some twists and shifts in perspectives that will keep your eyes peeled! It is really horribly tense. Why did I watch this, my sleep was terrible?!
