I was diagnosed with Chronic lymphocytic leukaemia ('CLL') 2 years ago and my travel insurance through Nationwide covered me for everything except Chronic lymphocytic leukaemia ('CLL'). This year I have been told it will not cover anything connected to Chronic lymphocytic leukaemia ('CLL'), hypertension and high cholesterol. A single trip quote with other companies comes in at around £800.
Thank you for taking time to send your question into the forum.
I’m sorry to learn about your diagnosis.
This is a great question and one that often gets asked.
I’m also a Chronic lymphocytic leukaemia ('CLL') patient (diagnosed in early 2025) and I am going to be trying to sort out some travel insurance in the next few weeks for a couple of trips i have next year
I’m a little bit worried it might be expensive (what isn’t in todays world!) but I’m confident a robust comparison of various companies and web sites will uncover the right policy at an acceptable price. Fingers crossed.
I’ve seen a couple of forum threads regarding this very topic:

@Sue49 In my experience travel insurance quotes that include MPNs vary widely in cost. The cheapest I have found, which fits my needs, was from Travel Insurance 4 Medical. I haven’t had to make a claim so I don’t know what sort of service one receives.
