Waiting on another fbc, I have slight thrombocytopenia. This time they are doing crp and should get it back in a couple of days.
Am I losing the plot, there is something not right. I have petechiae, abdo pain, night sweats, headaches, joint pain etc. My grandmother had chronic leukemia and I’m her doppelganger in every other way. I feel as though the doctors only half listen

Hi @Zambo so glad that you have found us.
You have brought back my feelings of waiting for results, horrible.
All I can say is often we know ourselves better than anyone.
You are nor losing the plot, I certainly had similar thoughts and feelings.
This is an opportunity for you to write down all your fears, thoughts, symptoms, questions, family history etc and make sure your concerned are listened too.
A lot of us have had to learn to become pleasantly assertive.

Well my platelets are back down to 112, doctor phoning later

@Zambo, I am glad that your platelets are back down, please let us know what the doctor says when they phone.
Look after yourself.
The rest of my blood results are fine but I’ve got the low platelets and other symptoms
