Waldenstrom Macroglobulinemia

Good afternoon, I have recently been diagnosed with Waldenstrom Macroglobulinemia.
I was wondering if anyone else has this diagnosis and if they are struggling with Fatigue and generally feeling tired most of the time?
I am 54 and was diagnosed in November.
I am on watch and wait.
Initially it turned my world upside down as the previous month I had been given the all clear stating I had Monoclonal gammopathy of unknown significance (MGUS) but the consultant was waiting for the 4th biopsy result, he then broke the news in November with this diagnosis…
I am a super positive person but struggling so much with fatigue it will be really interesting to hear from anyone to see if they are affected the same way and if they are able to do anything which may help, thank you in advance

I think it is very natural to not feel super positive at the moment, you have been through such an emotional and practical rollercoaster since November.
I hope others will be able to share their experiences for you.
I was diagnosed with another condition 21 yrs ago and it has given me the opportunity to look at myself and what I want out of life and with whom.
My main symptom has always been fatigue and I have learnt to manage it.
Give yourself time to get to know yourself and your fatigue and then you will be able to manage it better.
Any questions and please do ask, be very kind to yourself and look after yourself and please do keep posting.

Hello Erica,
Many thanks for your reply  it was good to read thank you . I hope you are managing your symptoms well.
Ooh I did put that I am super positive ( not not ) maybe there was a typo…
I initially had 2 -3 weeks of feeling very sad and emotional but then I have literally grabbed my life by the horns and I am going to make the most of it
All my friends and family have been brilliant and have said my positivity is admirable.
I don’t know what the future holds but I definitely agree it makes us look at what is important and who I want in my life and what I want to do with it matters more than ever now.
Thank you so much Erica appreciate your reply and for reaching out  Kind regards Sarah
