Hi I’m 25 year old female
I’ve got 2 hard rubbery lymph nodes on my neck a few around my groin none have ever went away. One of them on my neck is grape sized and visible when I turn my neck. All of them are painless.
I have night sweats, extreme fatigue, full body itching (particularly legs) at night, bruise easily and I’m always ill with something.
I’ve been to the gp multiple times as symptoms only getting worse I’m struggling to function daily but nothing has ever came from the appointments.
my recent blood test showed borderline low white blood cells. I have an appointment to discuss the results in a few weeks and the gp isnt concerned about them.
Any advice is appreciated.

Hello @Aimee789, welcome to the Forum - I’m sorry it’s taken a little time to get back to you.
I’m really sorry to hear what you’ve been dealing with - it must be incredibly frustrating when you feel like no one is listening to your concerns.
One thing that might help is our free symptoms guide, which you can use to keep a record of what’s happening and then share this with your GP at your next appointment: Blood cancer symptoms guide | Blood Cancer UK Shop
You might also want to look at our ‘Blood cancer symptoms and signs’ page, which has information about what to watch for and includes some really useful questions you could ask your doctor. Sometimes it helps to be direct and say “I’m worried about blood cancer - can we rule that out?”. Having someone come with you to the appointment can also make a real difference, particularly if you’re feeling unheard.
I should mention though - while it’s absolutely right to get symptoms checked out, most people who experience the symptoms listed on that page don’t have blood cancer. That said, it’s still important to understand what’s causing them, as they’re causing you such discomfort. That’s reason enough!
If you’d like to talk through any of this in more detail, our support line nurses are wonderful and would be happy to speak with you. The number is 0808 2080 888 and the service is completely free.
Do let us know how things go, and take care of yourself.
