Hi mu husband has recently been told he has bone marrow leukemia. He did his back in and had a mri which showed Everton from L 1 to L5 was damaged he is also losing weight. A stone and half in 10 weeks he is constantly tired and having colds and nose bleeding. Dr sent him for bloods which came back in less than 24hrs. It showed that is white blood cell count is high nearly 29 along lyphm count at 23 along with other various things. He has now had more bloods done to find out about his platelets and what stage we persume. Can anyone give any advice

That must have been such a shock for both of you and I can imagine it’s been difficult processing it all. How are you and your husband doing?
I know there will be others on here who will be able to share their experiences with you who have a similar diagnosis.
It will be really useful to write down all of your questions ready for the next appointment. Hopefully, once they know the stage etc you will be given more information about next steps and what that looks like in terms of treatment plans.
