Hi @Spangleystar
Rather than a day just take each hour as it comes less pressure.
This is the downward bit while your body is doing amazing things with those baby cells.
If you need to sleep then do that
Sending hugs

You’re right @2DB I managed a shower and a hair wash, I definitely deserve a rest now! Xx
Chunk it down to smallest unit great advice @2DB
Shower and hair wash probably equivalent of a walk right now @Spangleystar so celebrate the achievement and sleep when you need to.
It’s not starting early according to my numbers @Byrnebaby - this is all post chemo. Please no more new bits of info I’d rather wait until the doctors tell me xx
Exactly this.
Keep on top of sickness meds if you’re taking them and if you can water too.
If the water gets too warm ask for a fresh jug.
Celebrate the shower as a small win
You got this
It is all post chemo at this point.
I was not feeling great at this point either
I’ve actually stopped taking the anti sickness because they’re giving me significant dry mouth issues and most importantly are not stopping the nausea. Since stopping (last one was at 5am) I’ve eaten some pineapple and a yogurt and I’m starting to feel better. I’ve said if I started physically being sick then I’ll take them then.
So grateful to you @2DB for being here step by step xxx
The maddest thing from being in a hospital room is how limited your field of vision is! This is glorious- thank you @DuncanB xx
Pleasure @Spangleystar
Yes I know that feeling of how limited your field of vision is in a hospital room.
Couple of shots which my wife took on a walk recently.
Enjoy ![]()
Some more virtual fresh air (©️ @DuncanB) for @Spangleystar and @Byrnebaby and indeed anyone else who might like a break from being indoors.
Truckee River / Yuba River / Donner Lake / Lake Tahoe
Wow @Duncan these are simply incredible shots, I am visualising myself there. I met this wonderful lady yesterday whilst I was out in the garden. She was visiting her mum, we chatted for an hour and she was telling me how her brother and mother had Non Hodgkins lymphoma. Her brother had a stem cell transplant in 2020, she got him on the phone to talk to me. She then talked about visualisation as the best thing to do in the still moments. So I’ve been practicing and these will help massively xx
Good morning beautiful
@Spangleystar hope you managed some sleep last night and feeling ok this morning x lovely sunny day here in North Wales, had an early morning but no photos, but here are a few from last summer ![]()
The D&V kicked off with a vengeance overnight which is horrible but with the upside of figuring out what anti sick were helping and which were makinv me feel worse.
I’m waiting on my counts today I think that was the biggest sign that my n’s are dropping. Hope you’re getting out and about today. Thanks for the photos, very nice xx
Love the photos @Duncan
Sorry to hear that D&V kicked off with a vengeance overnight @Spangleystar
Never nice even if expected.
Hopefully getting plenty of rest.
Some virtual fresh air from this morning’s walk
Take care ![]()
Visualisations are brilliant if you can get yourself in the zone @Spangleystar
I learned about them when I trained as a Co-Active Coach and use to include when training people in presentation skills.
Enjoy practising and getting a lot of benefit from them
Lovely photos @Byrnebaby
Hopefully enjoyed your morning walk
If I may say @DuncanB, you and your wife are very talented photographers. Such lovely colours and framing—your wide landscapes are like their own stories! Are those beds of bluebells I see in your latest photos?
Anyway, I really love this virtual fresh air idea of yours. I bet it would be a great stand-alone forum thread for anyone to find beautiful natural vistas ![]()
I’m very touched that you’ve been inspired to do some visualising @Spangleystar even through the D & V, hope that passes quickly. There can be times when we just can’t get to places we’d like, but knowing we can visit anyway using our imaginations feels so freeing. It helps me a lot when PTSD stuff flares up. Where will you visit next?!
So lovely to see what looks like my old neck of the woods over by there @Byrnebaby! What is that handsome humpback mountain, reminds me of a camel!
These photos really bring me back home and remind me of how gorgeous and green the UK is thanks to all the infamous rain, I love it ![]()
