@Iain I had a feeling you would feel that way about the play offs. I accept the modern game, yet it does not sit comtabley with me. I would certainly keep Dyche to the end of his contract, I thnk he would at least build a foundation and continuity.
You have to be honest and say hes worked a miracle by driving a car with a broken engine and parts that are not compatible or intermittent at best.
With the right board he has the potential to have a bigger impact than Royal and mabye as good as Moyes. Remember he actually got Burnley into Europe one year.
It remains to be seen what will happen if a new board comes in. The only thing I will say is that this board came in & sacked Martinez 2016, he was 12th, not great, but we survived relegation by the skin of our teeth today 2023! I’m relieved more than happy.
I agree with you. Liverpool can’t get their head round failing to qualify for CL - I’m sure they feel it’s their right. This is just one example of ‘big’ club entitlement versus the rest (I don’t put Arsenal in that category because they’ve been through a few seasons of humiliation).
Commiserations. At least we Saints got our heads round relegation a few weeks ago and I think most of us are looking forward to a new start in the Championship. We’ll see you there - but no more 9-0 please!
I think Everton could do a lot worse than keep Dyche. He has a lot of experience and whilst he may not play the most exciting football I think he has the authority and commands sufficient respect to stabilise the Toffees. Also, you wonder who else they’d get.

The other problem is that having been fighting what I thought was a chest infection for two weeks (2 courses of antibiotics) I finally saw my haematologist last week. It turns out that I have PCP pneumonia. It’s amazing how much better I feel after five days of high dose septrin - she says the improvement should continue for the two week course.

Foxes have been yo-yoing for years. It’s just these last few that they’ve collected some pots. As I’m sure you’ve noted I follow the game but not the Premiership bias crap that goes with it. May be a good thing for some younger fans/newcomers to realise there are other leagues. Doesnt seem that long ago they dropped to Div 1
I think he should regret leaving rangers but even then loads of rangers fan were saying his back room staff were behind the success. I really don’t rate him and I hate that when he was at villa it was proclaimed to be “Steven Gerard’s Aston Villa”. He was a great player but unfortunately his best days are behind him. Every thing will be a stepping stone to a job he’ll never get

Thanks for the heads up! UEFA have told all broadcasters that European finals must be free to air and although by do via there YouTube (only s 24sec delay which for streaming is really good) they aren’t obliged to advertise it’s free.
